Say what you want about his technique, Billy Mays did what he needed to do, and did it well. He made a lot, a whole lot, of money for the company Drum and I work for and in turn, he became a star.
Yesterday, Drum and I were at Tampa International Airport to pick-up B'Gosh and we saw the US Airways plane that experienced the flat tire on the landing gear still on the runway. Billy was on that particular flight. It's been reported that Billy was hit in the head with a piece of luggage during that flight.
Rest in Peace to the "Hardest Working Man on Television".
