Hmmm...that title takes me on a whole other track...pun intended!!
So I went to Chattanooga and back over the weekend. Yes, I spent just about the entire weekend in the car, but it was fun! My friends Kahlua and Nashville (you know who you are!) had a van packed full of Nashville's belongings parked in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, which is just short of the Tennessee border and Chattanooga. They asked me to drive them up, and I jumped at the chance for a road trip! We drove up Saturday, arriving in Tunnel Hill around 6PM. We checked the van, checked into our hotel (HoJo is not what it used to be...), and then searched Chattanoogo for food. It was Nashville's birthday, and she wanted to go to Red Lobster. We had great, lots of fun and a waiter who I could have sworn was Gay...I mean Clay Aitken's twin brother. It was a blast.
We woke up yesterday morning to below freezing temperatures, and an ice-covered car. I dropped Kahlua and Nashville at their van, and headed home to Fla. I thought I was going to be bored riding by myself, but I actually enjoyed the ride home. I had occassion to check out how my new car handles a little speed...that little Aura hauls some serious ass!! Let's just say that if I had been caught, the Georgia troopers would have thrown me in jail. It was AWESOME!
Sorry you couldn't come with us Lola. We'll have to take a road trip soon!!!

And we definitely need to go on a road trip...or a airplane trip...
Maybe the "economic stimulus" package our new President is going to try to get passed will give us enough money to do some traveling...
