This morning he is on his way to Cheeseland to spend time with his Mom for her Birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!!! He will be back just in time for us to take off for Virginia and his long-awaited spine surgery. After that, we need the next trip to be purely for relaxation!!! Some place new that we have never seen. Any suggestions?

I have arrived in the land of Cheese! Lola and Drum know that when I travel, I get the odd balls and weird ones on my flight. Today was the Crazy Flight Attendant staring at the ceiling and talking to herself. Luckily (and I would never say this normally as I am true and Blue Continental loyalist) I was on Delta today and did not get upgraded so I sat in back with the normal flight attendant.
I have to say this..I am cold! Its a warm spell up here, 34 degrees this time of year is wonderful (shiver shiver)..
This week will be spending time with mom and doing some local things. Did I mention Cheese? Yes , there is a cheese run scheduled in there. Where else can you go and get fresh cheese (normally less than a day old?) I think we are all spoiled! If its not Lola and her Garlic Meunster, its Drum and his sharp cheddar! (along with orders from some other friends).
Drum couldnt have said it better, Happy Birthday Mom. You look great, and are an amazing person!
I look forward to Lola and Drums posting from VA! When you get a good feeling about a Neurosurgeon whos credentials are out of this world, you know you are in for a great outcome (and many laughs! I want some Blue Tortialla Chips Drum! and Lola, that deli across from the hospital, is going to be your second home getting me decent food to sneak in!)Love you guys!
