BARBIE has a new Ken - and he comes complete with a touch of Florida flair and a name you aren't likely to forget.
Sugar Daddy Ken is the latest incarnation of Barbie's long-time boyfriend.
Entertainmentearth.com, which sells the toy, describes this latest version of Ken as wearing a "dashing jacquard-patterned jacket with a light pink polo shirt and crisp white pants".
He sports a mop of silver hair and a fake tan to rival any young Hollywood "It girl" along with another of their favourite accessories - a little white dog.
His ensemble also includes floral swimming trunks, flip-flops, sunglasses and a bottle of water - everything you need to laze by the pool or sun yourself on the beach.
"This Ken Doll is ready for the Palm Beach social season, sunning by the pool, and a stroll with his furry little companion," proclaims the website.
Mattel said it is targeting the action figure at grown-ups.
"The 'Palm Beach Sugar Daddy Ken' is actually part of the adult Barbie Collector Line," a spokeswoman told the New York Post. "It is targeted toward adults."
And before anyone thinks the "Sugar Daddy" title refers to an older man with a younger lover, Mattel says that there's a much more innocent explanation.
"The little dog's name is actually Sugar," said the Mattel spokeswoman. "That's where the name comes from. He's Sugar's daddy, as a reference to the dog."
The "Sugar Daddy" Ken was created thanks to popular demand from Mattel's Barbie adult enthusiasts, who wanted a Ken doll that could hold his own as part of the already popular Barbie Fashion Model Collection, the spokeswoman said.
Mattel is offering their new Ken doll for $US69.99 from April 2010.
