Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes yesterday. Since Lola has already let it out of the bag that I am old, I don't mind telling you all that I am now 42, and today is the first day of my 43rd year here on earth. I had a lovely chinese take-out dinner with my family - Mom, brother Matt, Matt's wife Amber and their two kids Hailey and one month old Aidan. Taylor and Babaloo were also there. Thanks for the Firewood candle guys! I lit it as soon as I got home.
My friends Mike, Mike's son Josh,and Jonathan threw a birthday lunch for me on Saturday. We had a blast. Hot dogs and tater tots - how can you go wrong! Thanks guys, it really meant a lot to me.
I am going to spend the afternoon tomorrow in Tarpon Springs with my friends Stacey and Nick. Lots of great Greek food and insane laughter will be had by all.
I am going to celebrate with other friends, including Miss Lola LaFayette at Rainbow River this coming weekend. I can't wait!! Sweet Tea for everyone!!!
