Actors Matt Damon and Michael Douglas have signed up to star in a film based on the life of piano virtuoso Liberace.
Douglas, 64, will play the flamboyant musician while 38-year-old Damon has landed the part of his young lover in the forthcoming Steven Soderbergh film.
When asked how he felt about kissing his co-star, Damon said: "I'm sure Michael can teach me a few things."
He admitted it might be a "bit awkward" but said the roles, the story and the script "are great".
Referring to the famous scene in Douglas's film Basic Instinct, Damon said: "I'm not doing that thing with my legs."
The as-yet-untitled project, which has been in the pipeline for seven years, is due to start filming next summer.
