TAMPA — A 17-year-old boy is being held in Hillsborough County Jail without bail, charged with sexual battery on someone physically incapacitated.
The suspect, Steven Chase Garrett, is a student with the Blake Accelerated Curriculum Program, in which students take classes online from home and only go to school to take exams.
The State Attorney's Office will not release any details about the alleged rape until Garrett's arraignment, said Assistant State Attorney Pam Bondi. The charge is a first degree felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Garrett, of 4515 Shadberry Dr., was booked into jail Monday at 11:44 a.m. On his profile on MySpace.com, he describes himself as a Christian songwriter.
Perhaps actually BEING in school, rather than taking on-line classes would be beneficial. This PAB needs some boundaries and he needs them N O W!!!

I seriously doubt that you know who this kid is and if you did, you would know that he's not capable of anything so heinous. When he gets let out of jail and you find out that he didn't do it, you're going to feel like a moron for slandering this kids name. And by the way, why in the world would you post his address? Get a life and get real.
