Reduce, reuse, recycle. And some killer bargains...

I'm a very enthusiastic bargain hunter! Before purchasing just about anything, I search the local thrift stores in an effort to get the best deal possible. As I sit and look around my house, I realize that with the exception of our TV and Wii, everything I see in my living and dining rooms was purchased from a garage sale or thrift store. I have some very unique furnishings and decorations.

I started my day today thrift shopping with Mama LaFayette. We visited our two favorite stores and in the local hospital auxiliary shoppe, I got my Bargain o' the Day. A 1982, first edition copy of "Entertaining by Martha Stewart".

I'm so happy! I've been looking for one and damn sure knew I was not going to pay $65.00 for a copy from Amazon! I paid a whopping...$1.50!!!

Next on my list, a copy of "Cop Without a Badge", the book at the center of the scandal from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Mark my words, I will find it and I will NOT pay more than a couple dollars at the most!

Clarice: No. We just …
Dr. Lecter: No. We begin by coveting what we see every day. Don't you feel eyes moving over your body, Clarice? And don't your eyes seek out the things you want?

I'll start my search for a second copy right away...
