After I mowed the lawn, Lulu and GI Joe headed out to Bike Night at a local sports bar. I needed to make a purchase at the liquor store (more about that in another post...) so I decided to treat myself to Boston Market tonight. I don't eat there often, but when I do, I always get a side of their sweet potato casserole. Yum!
I went through he drive-thru, paid for my purchase, and placed the bag on the floor in front of the passenger seat. About half way home, I realized the lid had popped-off, so at the light, I reached down and snapped it on. I noticed there was a small side of gravy with my order. Then I realized that I was given mashed potatoes. Yuck!
I made the next u-turn and proceeded back through the drive-thru to the window, where the same cashier greeted me. I told her I was given mashed rather than sweet potatoes and her response, "Aw. Really?" I paused for a second and said yes. She then told me she'd get me another side and as she handed it to me, she said, "Have a good one."
No I'm sorry. No Boston Market is sorry. Just "have a good one.."
Really? Really?
Next stop, the on-line survey referenced at the bottom of the receipt...

I love their food, but I haven't been in years because the horrible service they always provide. Just not worth it.
Just one more reason they are closing their restaurants across the United States. We have none left in my area, service was never a strong point. I can see not much has changed for them after that post!
Babaloo and I went to lunch there this afternoon and actually had good service - and got free smoothies to boot!
Granted my pomegranite berry smoothie tasted like Robitussin, but still.... :)
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!
