Kelly McGillis is a carpet muncher? I never even suspected it, and my Gaydar is usually pretty acurate. Of course, has anyone heard anything about her since Top Gun?

Kelly McGillis confirms she's really a lesbian Kelly McGillis, long known as the object of Tom Cruise's affections in Top Gun, has confirmed the longtime rumors that she is a lesbian, SheWired.com reports. Miss California won't like that.
"I'm done with the man thing. I did that, I need to move on in life. It's a part of being true to yourself. That's been a challenge for me," the 51-year-old said. "I think that was an ongoing process from the time I was about 12. I had a lot of things happened that convinced me that God was punishing me for being gay. That was a hard process.”
For the record, McGillis has been married and divorced twice, and has two teenage daughters. This has got to be the most surprisingly unshocking outing since Jodie Foster came out.
