Suck it DirecTV!


Yes, I am in a mood today! So I love the programming on DirecTV. And their customer service and technical support folks are more than friendly on the phone. I should know...I just spent 66 MINUTES ON THE PHONE WITH THEM! The problem is their DVRs!

I have had DirecTV service here for about 9 months now, and I am already on my second DVR in that short amount of time. Now the second DVR is shot. However, instead of shipping another one out like they did for the first one that died, they want to send a technician out to repair it. "We can have someone out this Saturday, sir." That would be great, if I was going to be home. So now I have to wait until next Saturday the 28th until someone comes out to replace the box that they could have just shipped out in the first place. I did finally get someone to credit me for a week of service after bitching to the fifth person I talked to.

I have been dying to switch to FiOS TV since I got FiOS internet and fell in love with it, and have heard nothing but good things about FiOS TV. But get this, they want $300 for early termination. Highway robbery, I tell ya <>

So I am going to tell ten friends, who will each tell ten friends, and so on and so forth. The minute I have an extra $300, I am ditching DirecTV. THEY SUCK!
