Our Lil Local Area Hits the Big Time!!

Usually, the only thing that our area is known for are the sportos, motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, and dickheads that troll the streets.

Well, not anymore

From the aol.com homepage...

Calvary Chapel
Formerly: Wal-Mart Building
Location: Pinellas Park, Fla.

Calvary Chapel was growing at an extraordinary rate in a renovated Winn-Dixie, when the adjacent Wal-Mart franchise on U.S. 19 closed its doors after nine years of operation. Wal-Mart moved out in October 2001, and Calvary Chapel took control of the building in February 2002. The congregation has grown from 700 to 3,330 since its days in the Winn-Dixie building.

Funny thing is this is not the first business 'reuse' I've encountered in my life. While in High School, I worked at Burger King. Several years later, it was 'reused' into a bank, and you got it, I worked there, too.

We were known as the "Burger Branch"...
