Ok, once I got off my Solange tangent, I found this rare gem...Nikka Costa. Her new CD titled Pebble to Pearl is out on Stax records. I love the 70s funk style with an new millenium edge to it. This particular song has some Prince stuff goin on, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of his songs. I'll research that and get back to you. In the mean time, take a listen...
And this one is a little more mellow, and really shows off her voice. Love it!
